Our Journey
We met in middle school and have been inseparable for 27 years, married for 17. Even though we attended different colleges, our bond grew stronger during Danielle’s med school and Benjy’s law school years. After multiple rounds of IVF, heartbreaking losses, and eventually using a donor egg, we welcomed our son Jude into the world. Now, we’re hoping to complete our family through adoption. We live on a tranquil lake near the Twin Cities, where both of us work close to home. Family gatherings are a huge part of our life—whether it’s visiting relatives in the city or jetting off to see our extended family around the globe. Minnesota is our home base, and we’ve planted our roots here for good.

Meet Benjy
Benjy brings humor and energy everywhere he goes. He’s known to be a bit dramatic in the best way—always making kids laugh and feel special. He’s an award-winning performer (actor, singer, dancer, and director) who still entertains Jude with little shows, though they may not always be appreciated by a toddler! Professionally, he works as a Public Defender, offering legal help to those who can’t afford it. As the youngest sibling in his own family, he’s excited to team up with another little one against “the elders” (Danielle and Jude) in playful family pranks. Coaching, cheering, and creating a home filled with laughter is what he lives for as a dad.

Meet Danielle
Danielle is, simply put, an incredible mom. Her gentle smile and innate kindness could melt even a yeti’s heart. Thoughtful and committed, she’s always striving to be the best version of herself for her family and for others. She loves traveling, caring for plants, hiking, biking, and camping—fueling their home with a sense of adventure. She has taken on challenging pursuits, from mud runs to triathlons, proving just how strong and determined she is. Professionally, she’s an OBGYN physician and Director of Women’s Health at her hospital, delivering babies and providing compassionate care. Above all, motherhood is her greatest adventure and top priority.

Meet Jude
Jude is our bright spark—smart, giggly, kind, and helpful. He gets along wonderfully with his classmates, and he’s wild about dinosaurs, zoo trips, trains, and anything pirate-themed. Between visits to Grandma & Grandpa and Nana & Bompa, plus traveling with us near and far, he’s already collected more passport stamps than most adults! His favorite people include his cousins and his Tatas (Aunties). He’s been asking for a sibling and can’t wait to become a big brother.
